We have so much to look forward to! Just to touch upon the highlights: we will launch our year-long biology curriculum by looking at, talking about, and, for the first time, visiting birds. The Family Meet-up Day this month is at the Audubon Canyon Ranch: Martin Griffin Preserve near Stinson Beach. The preserve is not ordinarily open to the public—this is an extraordinary opportunity to show our children birds in their natural habitat. This Meet-up Day will complement our study on birds this month wonderfully. We hope you can make it!
For Earth Science we will take a look at clouds—how they are formed both naturally and man-made. What can they tell us about the weather? Who are the “cloud watchers”? We’ll be looking skyward a lot this month!
