Looking back at May we enjoyed the Anthropology Day celebration of Japan’s Children’s Day and Crazy Hat Day! The head topping creations ranged from sweet to outrageously creative and I hope you enjoy the photographs taken by Dustin and Carlin!
June will be a very significant month as we now look at plants and flowers during a time of rapid growth and blossoming forth of plant life. At the teacher’s request, we have opened up the cultural Anthropology theme from just South America to all cultures and will be focusing on the theme of international festive foods that celebrate the Summer Solstice. On Thursday, June 18th, we ask that the children wear yellow to school to additionally enhance the festivities of the day.
