As we enter our final month of the academic school year, I can’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for the community we have created at Glen Park Montessori. I feel fortunate for the tight-knit group of parents and children who continue to make our school feel more like family. It is a joy to our entire teaching staff to build relationships with families as we have the privilege to watch the children grow into their curious, capable, individual selves together. To our graduating families, we welcome you to drop by and say hello, and we will watch for your smiling faces pass by our front window as you move about through the neighborhood!
We want to thank everyone for placing your trust in our school as we move through the transitions of our teaching staff. It is bittersweet to say goodbye to the staff who have served our school for years with so much care and love. That being said, we are excited for new beginnings and have complete faith in our new staff joining us in August. We hope that many of you were able to meet the new lead teachers at the Meet and Greet, but if you were unable to, you will have many more opportunities throughout the school year.
As many of you know, I have been absent at school as I have been recovering from knee surgery. I will be at Graduation and am excited to reconnect with you all under the redwoods. This is a truly beautiful event as we honor our graduates and reflect on the past year together. See you then!
