About half a dozen kids and their parents enjoyed a beautiful, sunny break at Glen Canyon Park. The sun was beaming, so playground activity was short for most and the picnic in the shade was long. People shared their favorite snacks on the park bench and also experiences about parenting and their kids. It was a great way to relax among adults while the kids discovered the joys of jumping on and off twig piles, with more twigs in hand. One parent led a hike up the hill, to the delights of a fairy log. A baby blissfully slept through most of the activity — a future Glen Park Montessorian.
