For our Anthropology Day: Australia Music, our guest, Michaelangelo, performed a mini didgeridoo concert for both classrooms. It was the first time any of the children had heard a didgeridoo. Their eyes unanimously lit up at the first sound. We felt the vibration with our hands as Michaelangelo played the instrument. We listened for specific sounds that reminded us of animals that live in Australia like the kangaroo. The children said they heard the sound of a river. Please enjoy the video below!
