We are pleased to present our 2014 Workshop Series for Parents, covering topics such as child development, child temperament, discipline and behavior, and the importance and impact of play.

March 11, 2014 Discipline and Behavior
Learn positive techniques for handling disruptive behavior, what is normal and what can be ignored and how to stay sane as you guide your children through the early years.

May 13, 2014 Ages and Stages: Children’s Development
Learn what to expect at different ages and milestones in your child’s growth. Parenting skills need to change along with your child’s development. We will discuss how to do just that.

August 19, 2014 Temperament : Flexible , Fearful or Feisty
There are many indicators of temperament, and most children fall into 1 of 3 types. Learn where your child fits and how to parent that particular temperament group.

October 21, 2014 The Power of Play: Why Play Matters
Play is one of your child’s most important teachers. We will discuss how to help and not hinder your child’s quest for knowledge, and how to guide the child through playful activities.
